Dylan Zitzer has announced the signing of three all-state athletes to letters of intent: Jack Dolan, Jacob Rice, and Matt Wilson.
"I'm excited to see what this group can do." Stated coach Zitzer, "I think they will raise the bar for the men's team next season!"
The three will add depth to the men's cross country team, which is entering just the fourth year of competition as a varsity sport at Montana Western.

Matt Wilson hails from Hamilton, Mont. and will graduate from Hamilton High School this spring.
Matt was first team all-state runner and finished in the top-ten of the state cross country meet in the each of the last three years, including a second place finish as a senior. His 5k personal best is 16:25 and his best mile is a blistering 4:38. He is a four-time Academic All-State selection and made the Honor Roll four times as well. Matt is the son of Paul and Michelle Wilson and plans to major in education with a coaching minor.

Jacob Rice hails from Helena, Mont. and is a senior at Helena High School.
Jacob was named to the All-Area Cross Country team by the Helena Independent Record. He set a personal best in the state meet each of the last two seasons. His best mile is 4:48 and his fastest 5k was 16:44. He is the son of Mike and Ali Rice and is undecided in a major.

Jack Dolan is from Townsend, Mont. and will graduate this spring from Broadwater High School.
Jack is a two-time all-state and all-conference cross country runner and an all-state selection in track. He finished third place overall in the 2017 state meet and was a member of the 2016 state championship team. He boasts a mile time of 4:38 and a 5k time of 16:50. He also played basketball and was a two-time all-state selection in wrestling. He is the son of Sean and Brooke Dolan and plans to major in education.
