BARC (Bulldog Athletic Recreation Center)

Hours of Operation

The BARC is available for use by UMW students, staff, and faculty with current Bulldog Cards from 6 am - 9 pm Monday through Thursday and 6 am - 7 pm on Friday. Specific spaces, including the weight room and auxillary gym may have limited access due to HHP class and Athletic Department activities. Please see facility schedules posted at the Student Wellness Office (BARC 109) for specific information and contact Lindsey Branch for scheduling inquiries.

* Weight Room is closed during home sporting events.
*There will be reserved time slots for athletics, HHP courses and Montana Youth Challenge Academy.
Priority will be given to Athletics.

BARC - Bulldog Athletic and Recreation Center, built in 1968 is the home to Men's and Women's Basketball, and Volleyball

The BARC is home to the Straugh Gymnasium, Keltz Arena, the Kendall Athletic Training Clinic, Locker rooms, Athletic offices, and an auxiliary gym.
