The Bulldogs played great defensively, out hustling the Warriors to loose balls and forcing turnovers. Neither team took control of the game as there were 15 lead changes and eight ties. Until late in the fourth quarter when the Warriors hit several clutch three-point shots to put the Bulldogs away
The Bulldogs shot 48 percent from the field and 41 percent from beyond the arc, but it wasn't enough as Warriors shot 56 percent from downtown, and Caelyn Orlandi scored 23 points and hit several huge shots late in the game for the Warriors.
The Bulldogs had four players record double digits in scoring with Senior Kaye Bignell (Avon, Mont.) leading the way with a game high 28 points, six rebounds, and two steals. Aniese Palmore (Santa Monica, Calif.) added 17 and four assists, Britt Cooper (Harrison, Mont.) had her second double-double on the weekend scoring 13 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Taylor Howlett (Spokane, Wash.) added 12 points.
The Bulldogs look to regroup as their schedule doesn't get any easier as they hit the road and play 13th ranked Great Falls Argos on Jan. 13 at 5:30 P.M. and 11th ranked MSU-Northern Sky Lights on Jan. 14 at 6:00 P.M.
