Story of the Day
The No. 16 Montana Western Bulldogs open the 2017-18 season with a 84-49 victory over the Salish Kootenai College Bison Friday night at the Straugh Gymnasium. After a slow first quarter the Bulldogs pulled away for the easy win. Five players scored double digits for the Bulldogs led by Brianna King (13 points) Jill Jacobs 12 points. The Bulldogs emptied the bench early and evenly distributed playing time.

Junior forward Britt Cooper had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Senior transfer Theresa Mac-Dangosu scored nine points and had nine rebounds,

The Bulldogs out rebounded the Bison 55-26 including 34 offensive side of the glass.

The Bulldogs Improved to 1-0 while the Bison dropped to 0-3.
