The 16th ranked Montana Western Bulldogs pulled out a victory over Montana Tech 64-56 to open conference play. The Bulldogs found themselves in a 9 point hole in the second quarter before going on a 13-0 run to take a four point lead. The Bulldogs and Orediggers were tied heading into the intermission, before the Bulldogs were able to pull away late thanks to Frontier Conference player of the week
