The 16th ranked Montana Western Bulldogs pulled out a victory over Montana Tech 64-56 to open conference play. The Bulldogs found themselves in a 9 point hole in the second quarter before going on a 13-0 run to take a four point lead. The Bulldogs and Orediggers were tied heading into the intermission, before the Bulldogs were able to pull away late thanks to Frontier Conference player of the week Brianna King's hot hand leading the Bulldogs with 24 points. Britt Cooper added 15 and Darby Schye controlled the glass with 9 rebounds.
