Story of the Night
The Lady Bulldogs hosted the 18th ranked Battlin' Bears of Rocky Mountain College. The Lady Bulldogs are coming off a huge win over no. 10 Carroll College on Saturday night. In the last meeting Rocky pulled away to win 54-47. Â
The Bulldogs would carry over their defensive pressure from Thursday night against Carroll, causing four turnovers, and out rebounding the Bears, 11-5 in the first quarter. The Bulldogs led 16-12 after the first quarter. The second quarter was back and forth but the Bears would prevail to take the lead into the locker room 31-26.  The Bears would hold that lead throughout the third quarter, but the Bulldogs would not fold, cutting the Rocky lead to just two heading into the final frame. Halfway through the quarter the Bulldogs were leading 54-49, with Brianna King leading with 22 points. With just 2:47 left in the game Savanna Bignell would hit a dagger from downtown for her first points of the game. Cierra Lamey would seal this game for the Bulldogs at the free throw line, shooting 3 for 4 in the last 20 seconds. Bulldogs beat the Bears 64-57. This was the first sweep for the Lady Bulldogs in conference play this season.
Stars of the Game
The Bulldogs were led by Brianna King's 23 points. She set a school record for free-throws made in a game with 15. She also added four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
Cierra Lamey scored 16, and pulled down seven boards, and a steal.
Paige Holmes added 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal.

The Bulldogs shot 30 free-throws, and split them between two players, 12 for Cierra Lamey and 18 for Brianna King.
The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs improved to 14-6 overall, and 4-4 in conference. The Bears drop to 15-3 overall, and 5-3 in conference.

The Bulldogs will head north next week, as they travel to Great Falls and Havre Mont. to take on the University of Providence Argos on Jan. 26 at 5:30 p.m. and MSU-Northern on Jan 27. At 6:00 p.m.
