Story of the Day
The Montana Western Bulldogs did something them haven't done since 2013, beat the Skylights in the Armory Gymnasium. The opening quarter was tightly contested and took their Skylights took the lead just a minute into the second quarter. The lead didn't last long, as Britt Cooper found Cierra Lamey for a lay in and Alexa Welch hit a three on back-to-back possessions as the Bulldogs offense started to click and they and built a 23 point lead halfway through the third, and cruised to a 67-51 win.

Britt Cooper scored 14 points, grabbed 7 boards, and had 4 blocks. 
Brianna King had 14 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds. 
Paige Holmes scored 10 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

With four blocks tonight Britt Cooper is second in the Conference and 16th in the nation in blocks (30) and blocks per game (1.36)

Coach Woolley's Thoughts
"This was a great weekend for our team. I thought our ball movement and execution was really solid, and we played well defensively. We are past the halfway mark (of the conference schedule) we need to try and carry this momentum and finish strong."

The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs improved to 6-4 in the frontier and 16-6 overall. The Skylights fell to 1-9 in the conference and 9-12 overall.
