Story of the Day
The 10th ranked Bulldogs, coming off their worst loss of the season, were not only battling Rocky Mountain College, but also the flu. The Bulldogs were able to dig down and get a gritty performance despite the situation. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 16-11 lead through the first quarter and trailed by two at the half. But the Bulldogs were only able to muster six points in the third quarter and Rocky hit free throws down the stretch to pull out the 54-47 win.Â

Brianna King scored 17 points going 13-16 from the free throw line, she also had 3 assists and 3 rebounds.
Cierra Lamey scored 12 points and had 5 rebounds.Â

Paige Holmes, starting for the first time, scored 9 points, had 2 rebounds, and 2 steals.
Stat of the Game
The Bulldogs continued to struggle from the floor shooting just under 30 percent for the game and 22 percent from beyond the arc.Â
The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs dropped to 1-3 in the Frontier Conference and 11-5 overall. While Rocky improved to 3-1 in the conference and 13-1 overall.Â

The Bulldogs will return home next week to host the Argos of the University of Providence on Jan. 11. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m in the Straugh Gymnasium.Â
