Story of the Day
The 15th ranked Bulldogs closed out the regular season with a 51-42 victory over 11th ranked Carroll College Saturday night. Once again, after being locked in a duel through three quarters the Bulldogs used a strong fourth quarter to pull away with the win.  After struggling offensively in the first half the Bulldogs found their way in the second, shooting 45 percent from the floor. The result of the game had no playoff implications as both teams had already secured their playoff seeding regardless of outcome. The only thing to play for was pride, and a chance to to have a winning record over every team in the Frontier Conference. Which the Bulldogs were able to do for the first time in over a decade. 

Stars of the Game
Frontier Conference leading scorer Brianna King scored 20 points, corralled 8 boards, and had 4 steals.
Paige Holmes scored 14 points and pulled down 5 rebounds. 

Stat of the Game
The Bulldogs 13 percent from downtown in the first half, and 55 percent in the second half.  

The Bulldogs So Far
With the win the Bulldogs have a winning record against every team in the conference. They improved to 13-5 in the Frontier and 23-7 overall. The Saints fell to 14-4 in the conference and 22-7 overall.

The Bulldogs will open the first round of the Frontier Conference Playoffs at home against Montana State Northern on Wednesday Feb. 28. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
