Brianna King of the University of Montana Western was selected the Frontier Conference's Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
King is a 5-foot-5 senior guard from Spokane, Wash. No. 4 Montana Western went 2-0 on a weekend home stand. The Bulldogs beat No. 22 Rocky Mountain College 73-63 and No. 8 Carroll College 58-54. King averaged 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, two steals and 1.5 blocks. She was 16 of 31 (52 percent) from the field and 5 of 6 from the free throw line. Against Rocky, she scored her 1,000th career point in just her 50th game as a Bulldog.
King has won the award four straight weeks and five times total this season. She leads the conference in scoring and steals.
