Bulldogs Stumble on the Road to No. 13 Argos

The fourth ranked Montana Western Bulldogs found themselves in an offensive struggle in a 11 point loss to the University of Providence. The Bulldogs scored only 22 points in the first half, trailing the Argos by three at the intermission. The Bulldogs seemed to wake from their offensive slump in the third quarter, scoring 23 points in the fame. However, the Bulldogs lost their scoring touch in the fourth, struggling to make shots and getting out scored 22-5 in the final 10 minutes to lose for the first time this season. 

Turning Point
The Bulldogs held a 4-point lead with 6:24 left in the game. The Argos closed on a 15-0 run. 

Individual Leaders
Brianna King scored 20 points, two rebounds, and a assist.
Cierra Lamey scored 12 points, three rebounds and three assists. 
Emilee Maldonado scored a game-high 23 points and four rebounds for the Argos.
Parker Esary recorded a double-double (17 points, 13 rebounds).

Inside the Box Score
Coming into the game the Bulldogs were first in the nation in 3-point shots made per game averaging 10.6. They only connected on five tonight.
