Bulldogs Drop Close Game to Northwest Nazarene

The Bulldogs and Nighthawks battled for 40 minutes Saturday night. The reigning Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) champions edged the Bulldogs in a tightly contested game. The Bulldogs had chances in the final minutes to win the game but the Nighthawks stingy defense forced turnovers and limited the Bulldogs chances.

Top Performers

  • Jenni Weber scored 19 points and made five 3-point field goals. 
  • Shannon Worster scored 10 points and dished out four assists and pulled down four rebounds. 
  • Erin Jenkins scored 15 points, eight rebounds, and three steals for the Nighthawks.
  • Marina Valles scored 14 points, seven steals, six rebounds, and three assist for Northwest Nazarene.

Inside the Box Score

  • The two teams combined for 48 turnovers. 
  • The game was a counting game for the Bulldogs, but an exhibition for NCAA DII Northwest Nazarene.
