The fourth-ranked University of Montana Western Bulldogs women's basketball team will enter the Frontier Conference playoffs as the no.1 overall seed. The Bulldogs, who received a first round bye, will host four-seed Lewis-Clark State College in the conference semifinals Friday, March 1, in the Straugh Gymnasium.
The Bulldogs So Far
- The Bulldogs are 24-3 overall and 15-3 in Frontier Conference play.

- The Bulldogs swept both games last weekend to win the regular season conference title outright for the first time since 2003.

- Savanna Bignell was 4-4 from long-range last time out. she is shooting 47.1 percent from beyond the arc.
- Britt Cooper is averaging 9.5 points, and 6.9 rebounds a game.
Scouting the Opponents
- The No.22 Lewis-Clark State College Warriors are 20-10 overall and 9-9 in Frontier play. They finished fourth in the conference and defeated fifth seed Univ. of Providence 71-57 in the conference quarterfinals.
- The Warriors average 16.3 assists per game, have 491 total assists, and are a plus 1.2 assist/turnover margin, all three are top-ten in the nation.
- LC State is led by Josilyn Blackman's 12.8 points, and 7.7 rebounds game
- Hailey Turner averages 10.2 points a game and has 30 blocked shots on the season.

Tickets
- Ticket prices are as follows: Adults $10, UMW Students $8, Children 5 and younger FREE.
- No passes will be excepted, with the exception of the Frontier Conference Lifetime Pass.
- The first 200 UMW students with their Bulldog card will get in free courtesy of ASUMW
- Tickets will not be available for advance purchase. Tickets will be sold at the gate, doors open at 6 p.m. on March 1.
