KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2018-19 Division I Women's Basketball All-America Teams on Thursday.
Brianna King was named NAIA Player of the Year and first-team All-American selection.
Britt Cooper was named All-American honorable mention.
King, a 5-5 senior guard from Spokane, Wash., led the Bulldogs to their first national title and was named first-team All-American for the second straight season. She is the only women's basketball player at Montana Western to achieve that accomplishment. She was named NAIA Player of the Year as well as the
WBCA Player of the Year. She set a school record and was second in the nation in scoring (771 points), third in the nation in points per game (22.68), eighth in the nation in steals with 92, and eighth in the nation in 3-point field goals made (95).She was named Frontier Conference Player of the Week seven times this season. The Frontier Conference Player of the Year was also named to the NAIA DI Women's Basketball Championship All-Tournament First-Team and tournament MVP.
Cooper, a 5-10 senior forward from Harrison, Mont., was named honorable mention All-American. She was a first-team all-conference selection and played a big part in helping the Bulldogs win their first national championship. This season she averaged a career-best 9.7 points a game. She pulled down 234 rebounds and dished out 62 assists. She finished her career with 1085 points. Cooper was a two-time Daktronics Scholar-Athlete.

Lindsay Woolley said. "They are a true reflection of their team's success. They, along with their teammates, were instrumental in our memorable season and their awards were a fitting end to their collegiate careers."
