Dillon, Mont. - University of Montana Western head women's basketball coach
Lindsay Woolley has announced the signing of Box Elder High School star Lilly Gopher to a NAIA National Letter of Intent.
One of the state's top recruits, Gopher has great court vision and is creative offensively. She will add size, speed,

and a championship pedigree to an already deep recruiting class.
Gopher, a 5-10 guard from Box Elder, Mont., who has averaged over 16 points a game the past two seasons, has lead the Lady Bears to back-to-back Class C State championships and an impressive 93-9 record. She was named North Central Montana Girl's Basketball player of the Year by the Great Falls Tribune this season and the state's most valuable player as a junior.
"We're excited to bring Lilly to campus next year, Woolley said. "She knows how to win, is extremely skilled with the ball in her hands and has good size for a guard. Lilly will fit great with the rest of this recruiting class."
The two-time all-state selection is the daughter of Jerome and Autumn Gopher. She plans on majoring in health and human performance at Montana Western.
