Dillon, Mont.  – The University of Montana Western hosted the 27^th annual scholarship scramble at the Beaverhead Golf Course over the weekend.

The weather was perfect in big sky country as over 100 golfers featuring alumni, staff, and friends of Montana Western hit the links and raised upwards of $18,000 for student-athlete scholarships, which was a significant increase from last year's scramble.

"It was another great weekend for Bulldog fans," Director of Athletics Bill Wilson said. "We were blessed with great weather, good food, camaraderie, and some fun golf. We enjoy seeing so many UMW alumni and friends having a great time!"

The winning team of this year's scramble sponsored by Pioneer Federal Savings and Loan, Quality Inn, and Wells Fargo was comprised of: Ryan Nourse, Steve Bartkowski, Ted Ori, and Jason Sargent.
