Montana Western used a impressive 10-play 94-yard drive in the final three and a half minutes to defeat the Carroll College Fighting Saints 31-24 Saturday in front of a large crowd at Vigilante Field. The Bulldogs and Saints traded punches all afternoon long.before the Bulldog defense stopped a Carroll drive late in the game and gained possession on a muffed field goal. The Bulldogs took advantage, driving the length of the field for the winning score.Â
Individual Leaders
- Jon Jund completed 27-41 passes for 356 yards and four touchdowns.Â
- Jason Ferris finished with 19 tackles, two passes defended and a forced fumble.Â
- Mark Kharchenko was perfect kicking, going 4-4 on PAT's, connecting on 21 yard field goal and constantly booting the ball through the endzone on kickoffs.Â
- Devan Bridgewater completed 20-45 passes for 292 yards and a score for the Saints.
- Matthew Burgess led the Saints on the ground with 111 yards on 15 carries and a score.Â

Inside the Box Score
- Jamison Hermanson played in today for the first time since Sept. 15, 2018. He missed last season due to a lower body injury. He caught four passes for 59 yards and a touchdown in his return.Â
- Trey Mounts' 46 yards touchdown catch was his first collegiate score. He finished with six catches for 96 yards.Â

Play of the Game
- On fourth and 2 from the Carroll 37 yard line and just over a minute left in the game, Jon Jund found Walker McKitrick on the far side of the field, McKitrick eluded the Carroll defended and sprinted to paydirt for the game winning score.
