A strong second half pushed the 22nd ranked Bulldogs past the Orediggers 60-50 Saturday night in the Mining City. Montana Western started fast, jumping out to a 9-1 lead. But turnovers and missed shots plagued the Bulldogs as they committed 12 in the opening 20 minutes allowing the Tech to take a 23-20 lead heading into the break. The Bulldogs took better care of the ball to start the third and eventually retook the lead before three straight 3-point shots early in the fourth gave them a 10 point lead that they wouldn't relinquish.

• Brynley Fitzgerald scored 11 points and nine rebounds.
• Gracey Meyer had 11 points, five rebounds and a block. 
• Paige Holmes scored 11 points, four rebounds, three steals and a block. 
• Celestina Faletoi scored 13 points, two rebounds and two steals for Montana Tech.
• Mesa Williams scored 11 points, five rebounds and three steals for the Orediggers.
