Bulldogs Fall in Double Overtime Thriller

Score: No. 17 Montana Western 79  – No. 21 Lewis-Clark State College 82

The Bulldogs lost a double overtime heartbreaker 82-79 to Lewis-Clark State Saturday night to close out the 2019-20 Frontier Conference season. The game back-and-forth and saw 19 lead changes needed ten extra minutes to be decided as the Bulldogs were trying to clinch a share of the Frontier title. The Warriors shot 50 percent from the field and were able to play tight defense late to escape with win. 

Top Performers 
  • Gracey Meyer scored 17 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals. 
  • Brynley Fitzgerald scored 14 points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists. She tied the game with a tough layup with 1.5 seconds left in the first overtime. 
  • Savanna Bignell scored 12 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
  • Jenni Weber scored 12 points on 4-8 shooting from beyond the arc. 
  • Shainy Mack scored 11 points, two rebounds and an assist.
  • Kiarra Burlage scored 25 point-10 rebound double-double and added three blocks for LC State.
  • Jansen Edminston scored 11 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals for the Warriors.
