LOOKING AT THE OPPONENT - UNIVERSITY of PROVIDENCE:
The Bulldogs and Argos face each other for the 69th and 70th times. The Argos have played just five games this season having to wait until the spring semester to begin competition. They are 3-2 including an upset of No. 6 Carroll College a couple of weekends ago. The Argos are averaging 73 points and 33 rebounds and 7.5 made 3-point field goals a game.
Parker Esary, the Preseason Frontier Conference Player of the Year, is second in the nation in field goal percentage shooting a blistering 72.9 percent. She is leading the team averaging 20 points and 7.8 rebounds a game. She has recorded three double-doubles already this season.
Emilee Maldonado is leading the team is assists (4.25) and steals (3.5) and is averaging 17.6 points a game. She is 13th in the nation in steals per game. Maddy Dixon and Kerstyn Pimperton are both shooting 50 percent from the field and averaging 10 points a game.
