A late Bulldog comeback fell just short as the University of Providence won at the horn on a deep Reed Hazard 3-pointer. The Bulldogs were down 10 to start the fourth quarter and trailed by eight with 2:43 left in the game.
Brynley Fitzgerald tied the game with 12 seconds left off a turnover, but Hazard's dagger saved the Argos from a late collapse. The Bulldogs did a good job holding Parker Esary in check but Emilee Maldonado and Hazard each made four 3-point field goals as the Argos hurt the Bulldogs from deep going 12-26 for the game.Â
