GLENDALE, Ariz.—Despite having an 11-point lead at the half, the Montana Western Bulldogs (7-3, 1-1) couldn't hold the Arizona Christian Firestorm (8-4, 2-3) in the second half of tonight's matchup, losing 84-77.
Montana Western shot considerably well—42 percent from the field and 30 percent from the arc—but the Firestorm took control of the game with forced turnovers, steals, and offensive boards.
The Bulldogs led Arizona Christian for the first 24 minutes of play. Once the Firestorm gained momentum with 14 points off of nine Bulldog turnovers, they only allowed the Bulldogs to regain a one-point lead for 15 seconds late in the third.
