The Bulldogs offense struggled early in a 70-62 loss in the Frontier Conference Tournament Championship game to the Carroll College Saints. The Saints shot 70 percent from the field in the first quarter and 54.8 percent in the first half to build a commanding 45-20 lead at the halftime break. The Bulldogs would not go away quietly, as they fought their way back and had the Saints on their heels in the final minutes. However UMW couldn't get any closer than six points as the early deficit proved to much to overcome. 

Top Performers

• Paige Holmes scored 16 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two steals.
• Brynley Fitzgerald scored 16 points, six rebounds and two assists. 
• Shainy Mack scored 11 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals. 
• Christine Denny recorded a 17 points, 10 rebound double-double for Carroll College
• Jamie Pickens had a 16 point, 12 rebound double-double for the Saints.
