WHITEFISH, Mont., Mar. 2, 2021 — Conference commissioner Kent Paulson announced the Frontier Conference 2020-2021 Women's All-Conference Basketball team, as well as individual award winners and Champions of Character after balloting by the league's coaches. Paige Holmes was named defensive player of the year and Brynley Fitzgerald was named first-team all-conference.
Holmes was named the Frontier's top defender for the second straight season. She was also named second-team all-conference. The 5-6 senior from Seeley Lake, Mont. averaged 10.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.7 steals all career-highs. She is ranked 36th in the nation in steals per game and 42nd in total steals (54.)
Fitzgerald was named first team all-conference. The 5-11 junior from Dillon Mont. lead the Bulldogs in scoring with 387 points (30th in the nation) averaging 16.8 points per game. She scored 37 points in a game vs. Carroll in January which was the most points scored in a single game by anyone in the conference this season. She shot 43.8 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from the 3-point range. She averaged 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.9 assists per game.
