Fitzgerald Named NAIA All-American

KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2020-21 Women's Basketball All-America Teams on Thursday.Brynley Fitzgerald was named Third-Team All-American. 

Fitzgerald, a 5-11 junior from Dillon Mont., was also named first team all-conference earlier this month. The lead the Bulldogs in scoring with 387 points (30th in the nation) averaging 16.8 points per game. She scored 37 points in a game vs. Carroll in January which was the most points scored in a single game by anyone in the conference this season. She shot 43.8 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from the 3-point range. She averaged 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.9 assists per game.

"Brynley was really consistent for us all year," head coach Lindsay Woolley said. "I was happy to see that she received some recognition for the hard work she put in over the summer."
