DILLON, Mont. –  The Bulldogs are in full force this weekend with all fall sports in action. Volleyball returns after a week off, Football plays their third game and Rodeo and Cross Country make their season debuts. Below are notes and links for each team.


FOOTBALL
The Montana Western Bulldogs (1-1) will head east to Dickinson, N.D. to face No. 11 Dickinson State (0-1) Saturday, Sept. 11 at 12 p.m. MST.
The Bulldogs will look to make a statement coming off a tough 35-28 loss to No. 18 Eastern Oregon and matching up against the winners of the North Star Conference for the past six seasons.

NATIONAL RANKINGS: The Bulldogs received votes in the preseason coaches Top-25 poll. Dickinson State is ranked 11^th in the nation.

HISTORY: The Bulldogs are 4-1 all-time vs. DSU and 1-1 in Dickinson, N.D The last time these two team played was 8/27/2016. The Bulldogs won 27-13 in Miles City, Mont. The last time the Bulldogs played in Dickinson was 9/14/2013 with UMW winning 55-14.


VOLLEYBALL
The Montana Western Bulldogs (1-3) will head east to Dickinson, N.D. to face Dickinson State and Valley City State twice over the weekend.

SCHEDULE: UMW vs Valley City  9/10  3 p.m.
                      UMW vs Dickinson 9/10  5 p.m.
                      UMW vs Dickinson 9/11 9 a.m.
                      UMW vs Valley City 9/11 1 p.m.

HISTORY: The Bulldogs 1-0 all-time vs. Valley City with the last meeting coming in 2019. The Bulldogs are 17-8 all-time vs. Dickinson State


RODEO
The Bulldog Rodeo team will make their 2021 debut under first-year head coach JT Robbins this weekend in Cody, Wyo. at the Trapper Stampede rodeo. The 2021 Big Sky Region will open with two rodeos this weekend

CROSS COUNTRY
The Bulldog Cross Country team will open the 2021 season at home at the Beaverhead County Golf Course. The Bulldogs host the Frontier Conference Preview meet Monday morning Sept. 13.

                      Women's 5k 10:15 a.m.
