Box Score HELENA, Mont.— After a week off from competition the women's basketball team gave the No. 6 Saints all they could handle, but fell short losing 64-73.
Brynley Fitzgerald led the Bulldogs with 23 points, while
Shainy Mack scored 9 and
Lilly Gopher added 8.
The Bulldogs shook off a slow start by ramping up their defense and took the lead midway through the second quarter. It was ultimately the Saint's three-point shooting that proved to be the difference in the game as they made 8 of 22.
The Bulldogs will return to action at home this Saturday as they host Providence at 2 p.m. in the Straugh Gym on Community Appreciation Night.
