Bailee Sayler Picks Up Frontier Offensive Player of the Week

HELENA, Mont. – Montana Western women's basketball player Bailee Sayler received Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading the Bulldogs to a 2-0 weekend.
 
It marks her first career Erck Hotels/ Frontier Conference Player of the Week nod.
 
Sayler averaged 20.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in Western's wins over Bismarck State and Dickinson State. She shot 51.7 percent (15-29) from the floor and drained all six free throw attempts on the weekend.
 
The Missoula, Mont., native dropped a game-high 20 points and three assists in the win over the Mystics. She shot 43.8 percent from the field (7-16).
 
Against the Blue Hawks, the sophomore once again posted a game-high with 21 points on 8-13 shooting (61.5 percent). She knocked down three shots from beyond the arc as well.
 
Sayler has recorded three 20-point games in her last four outings for the Bulldogs and has scored at least 18 in all four of those.
 
LOOKING AHEAD
Western is back at home next weekend when they host Dakota State (2/13) and Bellevue (2/14) for the final two home games of the regular season.
