Biography

BULLDOG CAREER:
Due to COVID-19 the NAIA granted an extra year of eligibility.
2022 (R-Senior): Played in 11 games • Completed 189 passes on 313 attempts • Threw 22 touchdowns and 8 interceptions • Rushed for 502 yards on 150 attempts • Scored 9 rushing touchdowns • Caught one pass to score a 16 yard touchdown • Jund surpassed 10,000 career passing yards and threw his 100th career touchdown during the season with a career completion percentage of 57% • AFCA All American Honorable Mention • Fronteir Conference Offensive Player of the Year

2021 (R-Junior): Named AFCA NAIA All-America Honorable Mention, Frontier Conference Offensive Player of the Year, and First Team All-Conference honors.  Started all 12 games. Completed 233 of 391 pass attempts for 3055 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. Averaged 254.58 yards per game. Tied the school record for most touchdowns in a season with 33 total. 2021-22 Academic All-Conference Football team.

2020-21 (R-Junior): Montana Western opted out of the 2020-21 season • Academic All-Conference.

2019 (R-Sophomore): Started all 10 games. Completed 177 of 316 pass attempts for 2746 yds, 31 touchdowns and eight interceptions. 97 carries for 365 yds, rushed for eight touchdowns. Received second-team all-conference honors. Tied the school record for touchdown passes in a game with 6 against MSU-Northern.

2018 (R-Freshman): Started all 10 games. 186-352 for 2510 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. Tied a school record for longest pass play when he connected with Nate Simkins for 86 yards. 103 carries for 135 yards and eight scores. Frontier Conference Offensive Player of Week (9/18).

2017 (Redshirt)

2017 graduate of Spring Creek High School • 2015 Northern Nevada offensive player of the year • 2016 Northern Nevada MVP • All-State offensive MVP • In 2016 he threw for 3,315 yards and 36 touchdowns, 134.8 quarterback rating • He ran for 364 yards and 12 touchdowns • He was second team all-conference selection in baseball and an all-state honorable mention • academic all-state team for football, baseball and basketball.

PERSONAL: From Spring Creek, Nev. • son of Joel and Rachelle Jund • majoring in Kinesiology.
