2019 (R-Senior): Started all 10 Games • team captain • led the Frontier conference with 119 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 7 pass break ups, 3 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown and a blocked kick • He is third in the nation in tackles per game, averaging 11.9 • 8th in the nation for forced fumbles • For the second straight season Ferris was named First-Team AP All-American • First-Team NAIA and AFCA All-American • Academic all-conference.  

2018 (R-Junior): started all 10 games • team captain • led the team with 125 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, 12 pass break-ups, and three interceptions • third in the nation in tackles per game (12.5) • 16th in the nation in passes defended per game (1.5) • Frontier Conference Defensive Player of the Year • NAIA, AFCA, and AP First-Team All-American • Frontier Conference Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 18, Oct. 16) • Finalist for the Cliff Harris Award • Daktronics Scholar-Athlete • CoSIDA Academic All-District • academic all-conference.

2017 (R-Sophomore): played all 11 games • totaled 92 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, one sack, eight pass break-ups, and two interceptions • 32nd in the nation in tackles per game (8.4) • Daktronics Scholar-Athlete • CoSIDA Academic All-District • academic all-conference.

2016 (R-Freshman): played all 11 games • totaled 85 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, one sack, three pass break-ups, two interceptions, one INT return for touchdown • academic all-conference.

2015 (Redshirt): Redshirt season.

BEFORE UMW:
2015 graduate of Beaverhead County High School • led the Beavers to three-straight state championship game appearances, winning the title in 2013 and 2014.
