The Bulldog Football Tailgate is a pre-game celebration for alumni, parents, students and the Dillon community. It's a great opportunity to show your support for Bulldog football.
Where
The tailgate area is located on the practice field behind the grand stands near the west end zone at Vigilante Stadium. (Entrance on Center St)
Tailgate spots will be roped off with signs designating the occupant.
When
Tailgating will start 3 hours prior to kickoff.
Cost
Payment can be made for a full season or individual game. Tailgate spot purchases are made through the UMW Alumni Office.
Season Pass: $250 (based on six regular season games)
Per Game & Post Season: $50
You will receive a tailgating pass and be issued a designated area (renewable each year).
Game tickets are NOT included with the pass and may be purchased at entry gates.

The Rules
The following rules apply to each tailgate spot:
- Tailgate opens 3 Hours before game time.
- One passenger vehicle (one ton or less. This does not include Engine 18).
- NO MOTORHOMES
- Monitoring of responsible alcohol consumption
- NO UNDERAGE DRINKING
- Safe and legal method of removing vehicles following the event.
- You must clean up your tailgate spot.
- Vehicles must be removed by 45 minutes after the game.
- NO Sales of food or drink will be permitted.
- Vehicles must check in with gate monitor through the Center Street gate.
- Every vehicle must be in possession of a tailgating pass. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
- Users neglecting to clean their area may lose the ability to participate at a later date.
- Weight and length restrictions are designed to protect underground sprinkler systems and prevent ruts on field.
- If it rains or the field is saturated with moisture, tailgating may be canceled for that game.
