Chase Colvin is a native of Big Pine, Calif. and a 2007 graduate of Big Pine High School.
In his first season on the Bulldog coaching staff, Colvin will coach wide receivers and assist in recruiting and day-to-day operations of the football program.
Colvin played wide receiver at NAIA-member Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa from 2007-2011, where he had a very successful career. Colvin was a three-time GPAC all-conference performer and was named first team all-conference his senior season. During his career, Colvin racked up 182 receptions for 2,198 yards and 16 touchdowns, including career-highs his final season of 69 catches, 810 yards and six touchdowns.
He graduated with a bachelor's degree in sports management in 2011 and a master's degree in health care administration in 2014 from Briar Cliff. While completing his master's degree, Colvin served as a graduate assistant with the Charger football team for two seasons.
