Dylan Ramsey enters his fourth season on the Bulldogs coaching staff as the Defensive Backs coach and the Special Teams Coordinator.
 
During his first three seasons as an assistant coach, the Bulldogs won a conference championship in 2021, made an NAIA Football Championship Opening Round appearance, and earned numerous Frontier, CoSIDA, CSC, and NAIA awards.

In 2022, the Bulldogs finished 7-4 overall and finished up the season going 4-0 on the last four games. The Bulldog defense averaged 64.2 tackles per game and led the conference in sacks with a total of 32 on the season. The Bulldog defense also tied for second in the conference with 13 interceptions and totaled 60 pass break ups.

Prior to Montana Western, Ramsey made stops at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Northern Illinois University, and North Carolina Wesleyan College.
While at Wisconsin-La Crosse, Ramsey served as the Defensive Backs and Special Teams Coach. He coached an all-region safety as well as all-conference performers at punter, returner and long snapper.

While at NIU, Ramsey mentored current NFL players, Chad Beebe, and Kenny Golliday.

Ramsey was a four-year letter winner for at the University of Dubuque from 2010-2014 as a defensive back. He was a two-time all-Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection during his career at Dubuque and a four-time All-IIAC Academic member.

An Urbana, Iowa native, Ramsey earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Dubuque in 2014.
