McCauley Todd is entering his third season as a member of the Bulldog Football Staff and will be in his second season serving as the Offensive Line Coach/Run Game Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator.
During his first season in his current position, Todd led an Offensive Line that anchored one of the most dynamic offenses in the Frontier Conference and in the Country. The Bulldog Offense led the Frontier in Points/Game (39.2), Pass Yards/Game (288.3), Total Pass Yards (2883), Pass Efficiency (150.1), and finished inside the top 4 in the Frontier Conference in all offensive statistical categories. The Bulldog OL had two second team All- Frontier Conference selections: SR Center, Jed Heffernan and RS-SO LT, Noah Danielson.
Coach Todd spent the 2018 season as the Defensive Intern coaching the Defensive Line for the 6-4 Bulldogs. During that season Coach Todd helped UMW Defensive Linemen, Conlan Smith, earn second-team All-Frontier Conference Honors.
Prior to joining the UMW staff, Coach Todd spent the 2017 season at his alma mater, Cedar Rapids Washington High School (Iowa) as the sophomore Offensive/Defensive Line Coach. He was a varsity assistant on a team that featured his younger brother, Andrew Todd, who is currently a RS-SO Center at Miami of Ohio. Todd also developed and ran his own camps, The McCauley Todd Offensive Line Academy, where he trained multiple Division One Offensive Linemen and several other college players. Todd was a top rated offensive lineman in Iowa, earning multiple offers. He accepted a full scholarship to play at the University of Montana. He was a three year letterman for the Grizzlies playing in 33 games with a total of 10 career starts from 2012-2016. Todd graduated from UM in 2017 with two degrees, a BA in History and a BA in African-American Studies.
