Biography

BULLDOG CAREER:
Due to COVID-19 the NAIA granted an extra year of eligibility.
2022 (R-Sophomore): Played on the offensive line for the Bulldogs as the offense recorded 425 yards of offense per game, totaling 4675 total offensive yards on the season • The Bulldogs led the conference in rushing yards with 191.3 yards per game. 

2021 (R-Freshman): 2021-22 Academic All-Conference Football team. 

2020-21 (Redshirt): Montana Western opted out of the 2020-21 season.

BEFORE UMW:
2020 graduate of Newport High School • three-sport athlete • two-time captain averaged 10.8 tackles a game • two-time all-league selection on offense and defense and won the Brandon Burlsworth Character Award • honor roll student, NEA League Academic All-Conference selection and won the Distinguished Scholastic Award Football in 2016.

PERSONAL: From Newport, Wash. • Son of Jeff and Marianne Nichols  • majoring in secondary education and K-12 education with a minor in coaching.
