Montana Western, University of

A native of Idaho, Iola "Olie" Else is a 1969 graduate of Tendoy High School and a 1973 graduate of Western Montana College. She received her master's of education from the University of Montana in 1992. Olie is more than a coach; she is the heart and soul of Montana Western rodeo and is well-known and respected on a local, regional and national level. Else and Montana Western rodeo continue to receive NIRA honors including Coach of the Year, RAWHIDE Award, individual national champions and top ten finishes for both the men's and women's teams. 

Else is the mother of three Montana Western alumni Kayla, a veterinarian, Tad and Tate, who are both educators. Else is also an instructor of business and equine studies at Montana Western.
