BULLDOG CAREER:
2022-23 (R-Senior): Started in all 34 games • Named Frontier Conference Co-Player of the Year • First Team All-Conference honors • NAIA First Team All-American • WBCA All-American Honorable Mention • NAIA Academic All-America • NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete • Averaged 18.2 points per game, scoring a total of 634 points in the season • Shot .430 from the field with a .362 3pt PCT • Totaled 234 rebounds, 74 steals, 70 assists, and 15 blocks • Season high of 31 points against Providence (Mont.) on Feb. 9, 2023 • Scored in the double-digits in all but four games across the season • Recorded a season high of 7 assists against Dordt University in the NAIA National Tournament • Scored an impressive 76 points in the NAIA playoffs • Became the second all-time scored in Montana Western history on senior night against Rocky Mountain College • Totaled 1797 points across her four years as a Bulldog • 

2021-22 (R-Junior) Started in 25 games • 2nd in the conference for pointer per game with an average of 18 • totaled 451 points on the season • 5th in the conference for rebounds per game with 6.9 • tallied 173 total rebounds on the season • shot 44.6 percent from the field • 37.3 from the 3-point line • 66 total assists • 42 steals • 80.5 percent from the free throw line • Broke 1,000 career points against MSU-Northern on January 27th • In a victory at Montana State-Northern, Fitzgerald scored a season high 35 points on 12-18 shooting including 5-8 from the three-point line, was 6-6 from the free throw line, and collected 9 rebounds • First-Team All Conference honors • Third-Team All American • Academic All-Conference honors.

Due to COVID-19 the NAIA granted an extra year of eligibility.

2020-21 (Junior) Started all 25 games • led the conference with 422 points averaging 16.88 per game • grabbed 143 rebounds, 51 steals, dished out 46 and nine blocks • averaged 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.9 assists per game • shot 44.3 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from 3-point range and 83 percent from the free-throw line • scored a career-high 37 points against No. 6 Carroll • First-Team All-Conference • Third-Team All American • Academic All-Conference • CoSIDA Academic All-District and All-American • Daktronics Scholar Athlete. 

2019-20 (Sophomore) Played in 31 games, starting 16 • scored 290 points on 42.4 percent shooting • grabbed 121 rebounds • dished out 25 assists, and had 43 steals • shot 35.6 percent from 3-point range and 71.6 percent from the free-throw line • scored a season-high 24 points in a playoff game against MSU-Northern •  Daktronics Scholar Athlete. 


Transferred to UMW following a season at Montana State (NCAA DI) and was eligible to play immediately in 2019.

BEFORE UMW:
2018-19 (Freshman) Played in 14 games at Montana State • averaged 4.4 minutes a game • scored 10 points and nine rebounds for the Bobcats. 

2018 graduate of Beaverhead County High School • as a senior, she registered 18.8 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game • is the all-time leading scorer and rebounder at BCHS with 1,155 points and 1,124 rebounds • first-team all-conference and first-team all-state selection • 2018 Treasure State Classic MVP • as a junior, averaged 15.9 points per game, while shooting 51 percent from the field • first-team all-conference and first-team all-state selection • was named 2017 Southwestern A Co-MVP •  led the Southwestern A pulling down 8.7 rebounds per outing • as a sophomore, Fitzgerald poured in 12.7 points per game • first-team all-conference and first-team all-state selection • also a two-time all-conference selection and first-team all-state in volleyball • three-time all-state selection in track • led the Beavers to the 2018 team state title in track and won two state championships in the 4x400m relay • she is an 11-time academic all-state selection.

PERSONAL: Born Brynley Cate Fitzgerald in Bozeman, Mont. • daughter of Greg and Keeley Fitzgerald • siblings RJ, Jace and Halle Fitzgerald • Dad Greg won a national title playing football of the University of Montana in 1995, brother RJ and Jace play football at Montana State • majoring in elementary education.
