    Assistant Linebackers Coach
After a standout career at Western, Braden Swank joined the Bulldogs coaching staff for the 2025 season. He helped the Bulldogs to a 7-3 overall record. 

As the assistant linebackers coach, Swank helped twp players earn All-Conference recognition: Jace Fitzgerald (LB, First Team) and Keegan Muffich (LB, Second Team). Fitzgerald was also named a VSN All- American Honorable Mention. 

Swank was a key member of the Bulldog defense as a player. As a senior, he earned Frontier Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors and was Second Team All-Conference honoree. Hee totaled 42 tackles (29 solo). He led the nation with 23 pass breakups while also tallying 3 interceptions and 1.5 tackles for loss.

In his junior campaign, Swank was a member of UMW Association of Student-Athletes. He appeared in 4 games for the Bulldogs, recording a season total of 20 tackles and 10 pass breakups.

As a sophomore he ranked first in the NAIA for pass breakups with 21 total and was fifth on team in tackles with 52 tackles on the season.

In his debut season, Swank was first in the NAIA for pass breakups with 21, second on team in tackles with 65.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a 2020 graduate of Tahoma High School... Earned all-conference honors as a corner.
