The Montana Western Bulldogs, coming off an emotional upset victory of then No. 5 Montana Tech last week, suffered an embarrassing loss to the College of Idaho 'Yotes 59-27 Saturday afternoon in Caldwell, Idaho. The 'Yotes Darius Peterson dashed the Bulldogs defense for 457 yards, 233 rushing and 224 passing, and four total touchdowns.

Stars of the Game
Senior running back Hunter Thomsen ran for a season high 140 yards on 20 carries and a touchdown.
Senior safety Jay Owens had 11 tackles and two pass break-ups.
Senior wide-out/punter George Sherwood had five punts averaging 47 yards a kick, including a career long 76 yard punt.

Stat of the Game
636 yards. The Bulldog defense allowed 636 yards of offense on 76 plays, for an 8.4 yard per play average.

The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs dropped to 3-3 in conference play and 3-4 overall, while the 'Yotes improved to 3-3 in the conference and 3-4 overall.

The Bulldogs are home this weekend, hosting the Mountaineers of Eastern Oregon University. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. on Oct. 21.  At Halftime the Bulldog Athletic Hall of Fame will introduce the class of 2017.
