Caldwell, Idaho — The 16th ranked Montana Western Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a quick lead on Saturday and never looked back, defeating seventh ranked division two opponent Eastern Oregon 79-65 on Saturday afternoon.
Montana Western began the game on a 16-2 run, while Eastern Oregon missed it's first 14 shots of the game. The Bulldogs were paced from start to finish by Brianna King, who set a school record with 37 points. King shot 13-of-24 from the field and 6-of-12 from three-point range, while adding seven rebounds and a pair of assists. Theresa Mac-Dangosu and Jill Jacobs also scored in double-digits with ten points apiece.
The win is the Bulldogs' fifth straight and they have won all five contests by at least 12 points. The Bulldogs improve to 6-1 as it enters conference play. The Bulldogs will host Montana Tech on November 28. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
