Story of the Day
The eighth ranked Montana Western Bulldogs cruised to a big victory over Montana Tech 84-66, in a game that wasn't even that close. The Bulldogs, who led by as many as 25 points, took their foot off the gas late, and committed 26 turnovers to allow Tech to keep the game from becoming a blowout. Led by senior Marcus Payne's double-double and career high 23 points The Bulldogs opened conference play with a convincing win.  

Stars of the Game
Marcus Payne had a double-double, shooting 9-9 from the field for a career high 23 points, and pulling down 10 rebounds.
Dom Robinson scored 15 points and had 6 assists.
Brandon Jones had 14 points and 8 rebounds.
Kooper Kidgell scored 14 points, going 5-6 from the field.

Stat of the Game
The Bulldogs dominated the glass with 45 rebounds. Out rebounding Tech by 19.

The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs improved to 7-0, and 1-0 in the Frontier Conference, while the Orediggers fell to 5-4, and 0-1 in conference.
