The eighth ranked Montana Western Bulldogs escaped an early upset with a 106-99 overtime win over the Dickinson State Bluehawks. After a close opening ten minutes the Bulldogs pulled away and opened up a comfortable 56-42 lead heading into the break. The Bulldogs got a little too comfortable as the Bluehawks would not go quietly into the snowy night. The Bluehawks chipped away at the Bulldog lead, forcing overtime. After a couple tense opening minutes the Bulldogs pulled out the victory thanks to
Dom Robinson and a huge block by
Zaccheus Darko-Kelly.Â
Stars of the Games
Dom Robinson scored a game high 39 points, on 13-20 shooting including 8-12 from downtown. He also had six assists, and four rebounds.Â
Brandon Jones scored 28 points, and pulled down seven rebounds.Â

Apart from Darko-Kelly's six points, all the scoring was provided by the Bulldogs starting five.Â

The Bulldogs improved to 2-0, while the Bluehawks fell to 2-1.
