Story of the Day
The 12th ranked Bulldogs traveled to Riverside, Calif. to face the La Sierra University Golden Eagles, and fell 72-69 in a sloppy game that saw the two teams combine for 49 turnovers. The bulldogs only made one field goal in the first quarter going 1-15 from the floor, trailing the Golden Eagles 19-8 after one quarter of play. The Bulldogs started to chip away at the deficit and only trailed by five at the intermission. The Bulldogs kept the game close in the fourth quarter, the game was tied until the final minutes, The Bulldogs who missed 13 free throws, saw the Golden Eagles make free their own in the final seconds to pull out the win. Â

Britt Cooper scored a career high 22 points, shooting 7-13 from the floor and 8-11 from the charity stripe. She also had 7 rebounds and 3 blocks.Â
