The 17th ranked Bulldogs struggled early to Dickinson State trailing by as many as 11. Before rallying in the second half to came away with a hard fought 92-88 win in the Green and Gold Classic.
Zaccheus Darko-Kelly sparked a struggling offense with career highs in points (25) and rebounds (10) for his first career double-double.
Brandon Jones was lights out from downtown connecting on five from beyond the arc. And
Warren Helligar came off the bench and played 17 minutes, playing shut down defense and scored 11 points, including clutch free throws down the stretch as the Bulldogs kept the Bluehawks from any thought of a comeback themselves.Â

"We had a total team effort today, Z (Darko-Kelly) was at another level, He played his best game as a Bulldog. Warren (Helligar) came in and played great defense and scored 11 points, and BJ (
