Dillon, Mont.- The No. 20 Montana Western Bulldogs (21-6, 10-6) used a strong second half to beat Montana Tech (14-14, 8-9) 68-58 at the Straugh Gymnasium Saturday night.

n senior night, The Bulldogs were lead to victory by the play of their seniors.
Kaye Bignell (Avon, Mont.) scored 21 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.
Aniese Palmore (Sanata Monica, Calif.) scored 19 and had seven rebounds. And
Taylor Howlett (Spokane, Wash.) scored nine points including two clutch baskets late in the fourth quarter.
Early on the Bulldogs and Orediggers played a very close game, as both teams were trading baskets and shooting 43 percent in the first half. After Palmore hit a three-pointer at the first quarter buzzer to give the Bulldogs a six point lead, The Orediggers, aided by missed Bulldog free-throws, were able to turn things around and take an eight point advantage into the locker room.
The Bulldogs tightened down defensively and outscored the Orediggers in both the third and fourth quarters, pulling away late to seal the win and take the season series two games to one.
The Bulldogs will travel to Havre, Mont. on Feb. 24 to take on the MSU-Northern Skylights, in a battle for second place in the conference. Tip-off is set for 6:00 P.M.
