The Bulldogs split a pair of games on the first day of the Oregon Trail Classic in Forest Grove Ore.  Falling to Whitworth University 1-3 (26-28, 19-25, 28-26, 12-25) and beating Pacific University 3-1 (27-25, 25-21, 17-25, 25-23)

Star of the Games
Dylan Fowler had 58 digs in the two games, and Kyra Palmer had 17 Kills

Stat of the Games
The Bulldogs as a team had 81 kills in the two games.

Coach Lewis' Thoughts
"We had two very slow starts today. Once we got going and took care of the ball, we had much better results. That's something we are going to emphasize tomorrow from the get-go."

The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs improve to 6-3, Whitworth is now 1-0 and Pacific dropped to 0-1.

The Bulldogs will travel to McMinnville, Ore. to play in the second day of the Oregon Trail Classic against Lewis and Clark College at 5:30pm and Linfield College at 8pm.
