Story of the Day
The Montana Western Bulldogs rallied twice to beat the University of Providence Argos in five sets (18-25, 25-23, 18-25, 25-21, 17-15). Trailing 1-0 and 2-1 the Bulldogs rallied around great team defense and timely offense to win the first conference game of the 2017 season.

Stars of the Game
Junior Kelsey Potter had a .217 hitting percentage with 21 kills. And Freshman McKenna Fink had her second straight game of 45 plus assists with 48.

114. Is the total number of digs the Bulldogs had as a team, combined with Providence they totaled 233 digs.

Coach Lewis' Thoughts
"Providence is a very well-rounded hard-hitting team and we knew we would have to have a great defensive day, and the girls responded with 114 digs. Our defensive effort and fight on every point was phenomenal. Offensively we took care of the ball, and that helped us get the job done."

The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs started Frontier Conference play improving to 1-0 and 9-5 overall.
