Bulldogs Escape with 79-77 win Over Northern

Story of the Night

The No.16 Bulldogs men were at home tonight to host the 13-4 MSU-Northern Lights. It was a tough start for Bulldog stand out Dom Robinson who went 0-7 from downtown to start the game. Robinson would find a way to contribute to the Bulldogs with four assists and two field goals in the first half. He would not find the bottom of the net from three-point land until six minutes into the second half, where he had back to back three pointers. Brandon Jones lead the Bulldogs in scoring with 11 points. The Dogs went into the locker room down by seven to the Lights. The Bulldogs came out of the locker room with a new fire that was not seen at all in the first half. But the Lights weren't done yet with just 4:19 left in the game it was 72-69 with the Bulldogs out in front. In the last 2 minutes of the game the Bulldogs would score 4 points while holding the Lights to 4 points to win this game 79-77 in a dramatic finish.
