Bulldogs Host Carroll and Rocky This Weekend

Women's Preview
The Bulldogs will close out a four-game homestand this week when they host the 10th ranked Fighting Saints of Carroll College on Thursday night at 5:30 p.m. Then they will welcome the 18th ranked Battlin Bears of Rocky Mountain College on Saturday also at 5:30 in the Straugh Gymnasium.
 
In the last meeting the Bulldogs fell to the Saints 82-45, and then lost a close one in Billings the Battlin Bears 54-47.
 
The Lady Bulldogs are coming off a home split last week, losing to Providence 53-39 and beating the MSU-Northern Skylights 78-58.
 
The Bulldogs are 12-6 overall and 2-4 in the Frontier. They fell from the rankings and received votes in the latest coaches poll.  They are third in the conference in scoring, averaging 72 points a game, and rebounds with 41.8 a game.
 
Brianna King is second in the conference and 17th in the nation in points per game with 17. She is  9th in the nation in total scoring.  She is also 15th in free percentage and 29th in total steals.
 
Britt Cooper is 26th in the country in total blocks and third in the conference and 34th in the nation in total rebounds. She also averages 8.6 points a game.
 
       
Men's Preview
The Bulldogs will close out a four-game homestand this week when they host the 10th ranked Fighting Saints of Carrol College on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. Then they will welcome the Battlin Bears of Rocky Mountain College on Saturday also at 7:30 in the Straugh Gymnasium.
 
In the last meeting with the Saints the Bulldogs fell short losing 63-77. The Bulldogs ran away to a big 103-84 win over the Bears in Billings earlier in January
 
The Bulldogs are 14-3 and 4-2 in the Frontier tied for second in the conference. They are fourth in the nation averaging 98 points a game and shooting 52 percent from the floor. They lead the conference in rebounds per game.
 
Dom Robinson is third in the conference in scoring, averaging just over 19 points a game, and is second in the nation in assists and assist per game. He is also first in the conference in 11th in nation in three-point shots made.
 
Brandon Jones averages 15.5 points a game, good for 5th in the conference, and is 42nd in the nation in field goal percentage.
 
Zaccheus Darko-Kelly is scoring 13.9 points a game and is fourth in the conference and 23rd in the country in field goal percentage.
 
Kooper Kidgell is averaging 12.5 points a game.
