Bulldogs Offense Struggles in Loss to Rocky

Story of the Night
The Bulldogs hosted Rocky Mountain College in the last game of this home stand. In their last The Bulldogs were looking for their fifth win in a row tonight and they would not find it losing to the Bears 85-75.
The Bulldogs started slow and watched the Bears hit their first two three-point shots to give them a 12-7 lead just three minutes into the game.  The Bears kept their lead the whole first half, leading 42-39 going into the intermission. The Bulldogs could not find their rhythm until late in the second half when the high-octane Bulldog offence was sparked by Brandon Jones, and Marcus Payne fighting for buckets in the paint. Dom Robinson stole the ball with 2:56 left in the game to bring them within seven points. But the Bulldogs could not withstand the Battlin' Bears who shot 42.3% from downtown for a staggering 33 points.

Stars of the Game
The Bulldogs were led by Kooper Kidgell with 18 points, and four rebounds.
Brandon Jones had 14 points and nine rebounds.

Stat of the Game
Rocky Mountain had 25 assists on the night, and shot over 40 percent from the floor and from three.

Bulldogs so Far
The loss drops the Bulldogs to 15-4 overall, and 5-3 in conference play. Rocky improves to 12-7 overall and 4-4 in the conference.

The Bulldogs will head north next week, as they travel to Great Falls and Havre Mont. to take on the University of Providence Argos on Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m. and MSU-Northern on Jan 27. at 8:00 p.m.
